Am I Pregnant?

Symptoms of Pregnancy

The most obvious sign of pregnancy is a missed period.  Although being late for your period does not always mean you are pregnant, it is a very common sign.   Most women start to feel symptoms of pregnancy once they have missed their period.

Symptoms include nausea, especially in the morning, dizziness, breast tenderness, fatigue, frequent urination, increased appetite and weight gain.  However, even if you have some or all of these symptoms, you are not necessarily pregnant.  That is why it is important to get an accurate pregnancy test.

Free Pregnancy Test

You might have already done a home test which you purchased at the local pharmacy or dollar store and wonder whether you can trust the results.  The results of these home tests vary.  Sometimes you can get a false positive or false negative.

In most cases, a blood pregnancy test is not necessary for accuracy.   At Women’s Care Center of La Grange, we offer you a free high-quality urine pregnancy test with immediate results.  Urine pregnancy tests have improved greatly over the years.   We use the most sensitive tests, which can detect the HCG hormone indicating pregnancy at very low levels and very early in pregnancy.  Our tests can show positive results as early as ten days after conception.  However, for the most accurate results, we suggest you come in for a test after you have missed your period by at least two or three days.

Please give us a call to make an appointment for a free pregnancy test with immediate results at (708) 352-5000.
